How we rank

Relevance and product identity come before a convenient-looking result.

TrendPilot uses catalogue evidence to separate main products from accessories and replacement parts, preserve explicit model or seller identifiers and show seller destinations according to the evidence available.

Search relevance

The search system considers the visitor's exact query, product family, title and search terms, product role, seller data and available identifiers. Valid typed searches should remain intact rather than being silently replaced by an autocomplete suggestion.

Main products versus related items

When the visitor searches for a main product such as a phone or laptop, TrendPilot attempts to keep cases, chargers, replacement screens, spare parts and other related items out of the main result set. Explicit accessory or replacement-part searches can intentionally include those roles.

Exact identity

Where available, identifiers such as seller SKU, MPN, GTIN or an explicit model can strengthen product identity. Similar wording alone is not treated as proof that two offers are the same product.

Price and seller truth

A displayed feed price is not a promise about checkout. Exact-product destination evidence is distinguished from broader marketplace or search destinations. If the destination is broad, the interface should say so.

Affiliate relationships

Commission eligibility does not turn an unrelated item into a valid result. Seller policy, product-role rules and product identity are applied independently of whether a link can earn a commission.

Prices, stock, delivery, coupons and marketplace availability can change after publication. Confirm them with the seller before payment.
